The Wildest Show in the South

Jessica Adams, author of "The Wildest Show In The West," took a special visit to the Louisiana Penitentiary in hopes to gain a better overview of the imprisonment along with the one and only Angola Prison Rodeo. The Angola Rodeo is one of the most well known activities that takes place at the Louisiana State Penitentiary. For the past 37 years, a show has been performed on every Sunday in October. Although all of the contestants are inmates, it is still open to the public and people travel from all over the world to see this particular performance. Almost every show has been sold out and the profit goes towards the prisoners accounts.
There are 10 parts to the competition:
1. Bust Out
2. Bareback Riding
3. Wild Horse Race
4. Bull-Dogging
5. Buddy Pick-up
6. Bull Riding
7. Wild Cow
8. Wild Cow Milking
9. Convict Poker
10. Guts and Glory
